Participation Opportunities

We are developing an Accessibility Plan for NL Health Services to support inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility in our communities and workplaces. Our goal is to ensure diverse perspectives and lived experiences are reflected in the plan. Please engage with us as we develop this important strategy.

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services is conducting a survey to help understand the health needs of residents and communities across the province. The Newfoundland and Labrador Statistics Agency (NLSA) is conducting the survey by mail and by phone using a randomized sample of provincial households.

The Office of Public Engagement has developed a series of helpful resources, including planning tools, templates, and tip sheets to support staff in planning, implementing and evaluating their public engagement initiatives.
NL Health Services has some decisions to make about expanding Meals on Wheels. We are seeking feedback on where to offer the service, what costs individuals can afford, and when to deliver meals to clients. Your feedback is important to us. This page links you to a brief survey and information about the Meals on Wheels program.

NL Health Services has a dedicated program called MyVoiceNL that collects feedback and measures the experience of care across the health system. Through surveys, the people who use our services tell us our strengths and areas for improvement. This feedback helps us understand the experiences, priorities, and needs of our patients and caregivers. We use the results to support planning and quality improvement projects.

NL Health Services is developing a strategy to address climate change. The public was invited to participate through polls, a discussion forum, and other engagement opportunities. This engagement closed on February 17, 2025. Read the "What We Heard" report.
